Have you also been reading and listening to stories about the three university presidents (Harvard, MIT, and Penn) who recently testified before the House committee about antisemitism on college campuses? Fascinating. Sad. It’s all quite horrifying, actually.

They couldn’t give a straight direct answer about whether promoting genocide of a particular group of students would violate their universities’ codes of conduct. The fallout from that hearing continues across our nation.

According to the website of Representative Elise Stefanek, who questioned these presidents, the video of that testimony has been viewed more than a billion times, making it the most viewed congressional hearing ever. As a lawyer, the angle that struck me especially was The New York Times story about “one of America’s best…
