I’m back! It’s time to share news about my new book, Boxes from the Attic — An Immigrant’s Story

Alas, over these last few months, I’ve been lax about posting on Medium. For my readers, I apologize….

Why so lax? In part, because I was finishing my book, Boxes from the Attic — An Immigrant’s Story. It’s the memoir of my mother’s 20th century life — she was an ordinary woman who lives an extraordinary life on three continents. And she wanted her story told!

Boxes was published on August 28, 2024. I think it looks great — both in paperback and hardback. It’ll be out in Kindle within the next month or two.

And, best of all, people really like it!

Why is that? I’ve been thinking…..

We all have mothers. We all have stories. We all have memories.

This simple truth, I’m beginning to think, is why Boxes resonates with so many readers. I receive amazing feedback that has touched my heart. People have written to tell me that the book brought tears to their eyes; that they read it in one sitting; that it was a page-turner; that it led them to think about their own mother.

I’m so grateful.

Since the book was published, I’ve participated in a wonderful authors’ event, hosted two book parties, learned that the book…
